ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN PHYSICS - BIOPHYSICS

The Department of Physics of Queens College of the City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biophysics, broadly defined, to begin in Fall 2023. Queens College is one of the flagship research colleges of CUNY and is part of the Doctoral Program in Physics of The CUNY Graduate Center. Details about the department and its current research programs are available at physics.qc.cuny.edu. A Ph.D. in Physics or equivalent is required. Postdoctoral experience and an established record of publications are strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have shown ability to build an independent externally funded research program, to collaborate with and complement colleagues from related disciplines, to teach graduate and undergraduate physics courses, including at an introductory level, and to participate in curriculum development, advisement, and other services as needed to benefit the department, college, and university.
