Why donate to NSHP?
The National Society of Hispanic Physicisists. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization with a mission to advance the engagement and participation of Hispanic-Americans and Latinic-Americans in physics, and to celebrate their accomplishments. NSHP is classified as a charitable organization by the IRS and donations are tax deductible.
Membership is open to all individuals and organizations.
The working Board is made up of all volunteers and funds donated to NSHP are primarily dedicated to student travel and awards. A small amount of the funds may be used for operational expenses such as website maintenance and travel expense of Board members setting up the annual meetings.
The Treasurer reports on the financial expenditures of the organization in an annual report.
